Wolf Creek Elementary School

Welcome to Wolf Creek School

Wolf Creek, Montana is a pretty little storybook town in the mountains 35 miles north of the State Capital of Helena. It is close enough to both Helena and Great Falls via Interstate 15 for shopping, city amenities, cultural activities, concerts, etc., while keeping it’s small-town flair and country living at its best.  Wolf Creek offers unsurpassed mountain vistas, wildlife, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, as well as peace, quiet and solitude if you so desire.

Time didn’t entirely forget Wolf Creek.  Through the years  the businesses have grown and evolved to accommodate the growing fly-fishing industry, with numerous outfitters doing business to serve their needs. While the Missouri River, 3 miles away, boasts Blue Ribbon trout fishing , Holter Lake offers boating, water recreation activities, spectacular scenery, and ice fishing in the winter. World class food can be had in both Wolf Creek and the neighboring community of Craig just 8 miles down the road.

The Wolf Creek community is a close-knit family of year-round residents looking out for and enjoying one another.  The Matriarch of the community was born, raised and educated here and can’t imagine living anywhere else. The surrounding countryside encompasses many ranches, some large, some small but all are recognized as life blood of our town.  The Wolf Creek Volunteer Fire Company meets the needs of the community for any medical or fire emergency and their members enjoy giving back to the town they love.  We are a full service community with restaurants, bars, grocery store, gas station and churches. There are many activities in which newcomers can participate and be welcomed.

They say, it takes a community to raise a child and this is very evident in Wolf Creek where people interact on behalf of the children.

Small town ** Small enrollment ** Big benefits

The Wolf Creek School is a quaint little rural school with a hot lunch program for Kindergarten to 6th grade students. Our students enjoy field trips and have fund raisers to finance them.  Their academic achievements are second to none and shine through when they go on to Middle School, High School and College.

We are working to make our website ADA compliant.
